About

I’m a fourth-generation native of Colorado’s Western Slope, and raised in the high country of northern Colorado. My passion for the garden has been ever-present, and the daylily has always been a favorite — first the front flower garden, then the pots, and now an entire section devoted to Ned Roberts’ Southwestern named varieties.

It was returning to school for my doctorate that sent my love of daylilies into full bloom. I finished that chapter as a grandmother, and somewhere along the way this garden became its own kind of education.

I photograph every daylily every year. Come follow the journey.
